The Blue Lines Arabia Company’s Code of Conduct establishes
expectations for ethical behavior and compliance for all employees, partners, and subcontractors globally. It is endorsed by the board of
directors and aims to promote integrity and adherence to the law,
emphasizing the importance of ethical decision making both on and off the
job.
BLA’s ethics and compliance program provides resources for employees to report potential violations confidentially, ensuring that retaliation against anyone reporting concerns is strictly prohibited. The program requires annual participation in ethics awareness workshops and compliance training tailored to specific job functions, reinforcing a culture that values ethical conduct.
The Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer (CECO) plays a central role in overseeing the implementation of policies, providing guidance for employees with questions or concerns, and representing ethical standards externally. Employees are encouraged to raise ethical issues and seek guidance, while supervisors and managers are responsible for fostering an environment conducive to open discussions about standards of conduct.
Additionally, the effectiveness of the ethics training and awareness workshops is regularly evaluated through feedback surveys from participants. This ongoing training initiative is designed to strengthen the organizational culture around ethics and compliance, ensuring that all colleagues understand their responsibilities and are equipped to uphold BLA’s values in their daily work. By promoting ethical behavior and compliance, BLA aims to safeguard its interests and those of its clients, ultimately supporting a productive and trustworthy work environment.
